The end of 2012

Hey guys,
Before I continue to update on my Dubai trip, I just wanna take a break and pen down my thoughts about 2012 since well, it's the 31st today here in Malaysia!

2012 has been a very different year for me.
Of course first being it would be the first year that I had not need to worry about my studies since I've just graduated and it is also the year that I've officially moved back to Malaysia leaving my home for nearly the past 4 years and most of the super amazing people in my life.

It did take alot of time getting used to this place. It's constantly so so busy and it's not a friendly drive to nature, plus it being dangerous to walk around on streets did eventually get to me after a few months!

Of course, I have to say I'm really enjoying the food here in Malaysia,somehow at one point I was going for so many food reviews it was almost every 2 days I had an invite. Then I stop because I realised it's not really my forte to write about food and as much as I enjoyed eating it, it just really wasn't what I was looking for.

Went on quite a fair bit of trips this year alone, first being Taiwan in Feb.




I celebrated my very first bday with Nate

and over the year took even more photos with Nate

made spontaneous trips like driving down to PD just to listen to the waves for an hour or so

and last minute Bangkok shopping trips


of course not forgetting my constant mischief and goal to constantly bully doraemon


It was also a year where I've had my chance to travel much more with my family

So yeah, 2 Bangkok trips in 2 months, guess we must have really like Bangkok ey.

Attended events and perhaps drinking 5 times more than I've ever done in the past 22 years of my life combined all together.



I made new friends in Malaysia, and of course caught up with old ones =) and I'm really glad I did because I would have prolly hated it here in Malaysia.

and not forgetting our recent trip to Dubai


and then in October, the month I'll remember most.
Well I finally managed to make a trip back to Perth. I met the people whom were dearest to me and attended James and Kendall's wedding!

I also managed to catch up with Wilson and also took my long long delayed graduation photos!

Going back to Perth was important for me, I got so caught up with the busy rhythm in the city I forgot that there's alot more to life than just, being busy.

Also, I managed to finally bring Nate to the amazing places I've been telling him about in Perth


Most importantly

We got engaged in October, in Perth. Just right under the starry night in Margaret River. We somehow saw whales(Twice!) and shooting stars during that weekend!

So yes, 2012 has been a year that's really difficult to forget. It was def different, considering the change in my life but I couldn't have asked for a better year.

So guys, here's to a better year, 2013 will be a good one don't worry! I'm a little excited, a little scared but I'm really looking forward to it.
Just remember when things get tough, you'll always be ok, it might not turn out the way you want it to but in the end you will always be okay

and yes, the bullying continues =D
