Last week I've attended 2 days of the Golden Disk Award, Swedish House Mafia rave, and 2 days of the We Love Asia rave. So that's pretty much 2 days left of my week that I could actually stay home at night to rest! The last day of We Love Asia was on a Sunday, we got back pretty late and was really tired but the first time in my working life I've actually looked forward to a Monday because I know I've survived the crazy week!
Anyways, before I start, I've like to happily announce that I'm now officially a Note 2 user! The last time I had the unit it was only for a review but now it's gonna be minee for a long long time(I sure hope so!) Absolutely loving the big huge screen of the Note 2.
So I know the timeline is a little jumbled up but I will have to update about We Love Asia first because I've already gotten all the photos for them
Photos credits to Jaz, Nelson and some photos are mine.
Anyways for those who weren't kept in the loop with the We Love Asia event(say what? You didn't go? whyyyy?) it's okay continue reading because I'm now gonna tell you what happened at the event!

The event was held in Sepang(yeah we drove down to Sepang 4 times last week)
The setting for the place was MASSIVE! It wasn't too crowded and I was actually really happy with the whole staging and stuff because it was easy to navigate ourselves around the place if we needed drinks or food.
We attended both days of the WLA(We Love Asia Music Festival), because on both days they had pretty good lineups of artistes.
On the first day the highlight was def Taio Cruz and Ferry Corsten and the second day of course having Redfoo from LMFAO and Steve Aoki.
Saturday we arrived pretty early(early as in about 7pm early), coz we didn't wanna miss much and thought they'd had booths set up for us to play around.

Anyways we were lucky enough to get tickets at the Vip stage but it didn't really made too much of a difference in my opinion because the VIP section was just an elevated stage for us to see the stage better. Of course for people with my height it's a good thing but if you really did wanna dance and what not, going nearer to the stage was def much of a better option because, well it's closer to the stage=p

So since we were early, we decided to head towards the "Win prizes here" areas to win ourselves some prizes

Manage to get ourselves some really pretty lighters(yay to lighting up candles) and also those rings they had that would light up(quite similar to a glowstick)

So as the sky grew darker, more people started coming in. The lightings for both nights were really impressive I'll have to say.

Check out the turnout man, and we were only halfway through the rave itself!

When the gang all arrived, needless to say we took more photos

By the time it was Taio Cruz's turn to perform, the place was filled with people! It was much worth it though because I really did enjoy Taio Cruz performance(well that and because he was prolly the only guy who went that night that had songs I could actually sing along to=p)

and of course the very much famous song of Taio Cruz(video credits to Nelson)
of course what's a rave party with some rave music right=p
I really really like those lightbulb ring thing they gave, pretty cool huh?
On the 2nd day, we were really anticipating for Redfoo and Steve Aoki. And since Steve is one of his biggest much loved DJ, he decided to support him by bringing a mask =.=
(I didn't understand how it was connected but I guess it works for him)

So when Redfoo came up we all went pretty cray cray
They opened bottles and bottles of champagne for the champagne shower! The atmosphere was insane!
Then when Steve came up Nelson went crazy hahah!
So Steve did his I guess routine where he'd cake someone and chuck someone on his inflatable boat and got the crowd to kinda move his inflatable boat around.
I'll have to say though, this is officially my proper first rave and it was such an experience!

of course it was also the company that made the night so much more memorable

So what can I conclude?

yup, def loved it.
On a side note, We manage to meet Hokuto Konishi the night after SHM at Rootz! Don was to hosting(pretty much party with them) that night. Those who don't know who he is, he's part of the Quest Crew who choreographed the dance moves for LMFAO

Guy's got skill man, such a talented person!
Anyways, I really hope you guys have enjoyed this post because my next post will be a giveaway to the ladies so stay tuned!
